Variable products that arrive whole, every time
Footwear and apparel catalogs live or die on variations — sizes, widths, colours — and this is exactly where most multistore sync tools cut corners, flattening attributes or dropping per-variation stock and pricing. The result is a product that looks fine on the hub but is missing half its buying options on a connected store.
Stillpoint treats variations as fully-fledged data, not an afterthought. It can sync product variations across WooCommerce stores with each variation carrying its own SKU, price, stock level, image and full set of attribute values, and it recreates the underlying attributes — sizes, colours, widths — on each target store so the buying experience matches exactly.
Key benefits
Attributes recreated automatically
Global and custom attributes, including their terms and ordering, are matched or created on the target store without manual setup.
Per-variation SKU and pricing
Each size or width keeps its own SKU and price on every store, so fulfilment and reporting stay accurate.
Variation-specific images
An image assigned to a particular colourway follows that variation, not just the parent product.
Full attribute value sets
UK and EU sizes, widths and colour options sync as complete sets, not partial lists.
Stock synced per variation
Stock quantity and status sync at the variation level, tying into Stillpoint's shared inventory engine.
No pre-built taxonomies required
You don't need matching attribute taxonomies already set up on every store before syncing starts.
How it works
- 1
Build variations on your hub
Set up the variable product, attributes and individual variations as normal in WooCommerce.
- 2
Target your stores
Choose which connected stores should carry this product.
- 3
Attribute mapping runs first
Stillpoint checks each target store for matching attributes and terms, creating any that are missing.
- 4
Variations sync in full
Every variation, with SKU, price, stock and image, is written to the target store.
- 5
Later edits sync the same way
A new size added, or a price changed on one variation, syncs automatically without rebuilding the product.
Real-world examples
A footwear retailer lists a running shoe in UK sizes 4 through 12 with a wide-fit option on two of those sizes. When the product syncs to the AU store, Stillpoint recreates the size attribute using AU sizing conventions the team has mapped, and the DE store receives the equivalent EU sizes, each variation keeping its own SKU such as RUN-4410-UK9W for the wide-fit UK 9.
Mid-season, the buying team adds a new colourway — 'Storm Grey' — to an existing boot, complete with its own gallery image and starting stock of 240 units split across two warehouses. The new variation, image included, appears automatically on the UK, AU and DE stores without anyone touching those sites directly.
A limited edition trainer sells out of UK size 8 first. Stillpoint's variation-level stock sync updates that specific size's status to out of stock on the UK store the moment inventory hits zero, while UK size 9 and the equivalent AU and DE sizes remain purchasable, since stock is tracked per variation rather than per product.
Who it's for
Built for multi-store footwear and apparel merchants whose catalogs depend on sizes, widths and colourways matching exactly across storefronts, and for agencies managing variable-product catalogs on clients' behalf.
